A message from Charles Turnbull, President
Dear Residents, Families, and Friends of Turnbull Nursing Home,
As the Chair of the Board of Directors, I am honored to be part of our dedicated team at Turnbull Nursing Home. Our commitment to providing exceptional care remains steadfast, just as it has for over a century.
The Turnbull Home is not just a nursing home; it's a place where residents become part of our extended family. As a small-scale nursing home, housed within a beautifully preserved heritage building, we strive to create a unique and intimate environment that ensures individualized care and attention. We understand that the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of each resident are unique, and we take great pride in tailoring our care to meet those needs.
Our commitment to excellence is reinforced by the heartwarming testimonials we receive from our residents and their families. These stories of compassion, respect, and love remind us why we do what we do every day. We're immensely proud of our dedicated staff, a team of professionals who treat every resident as a cherished family member.
Turnbull Nursing Home has a rich history that dates to 1899 when it was founded by my great-great grandfather, philanthropist William Wallace Turnbull. Since that time my family has proudly served the home by honouring his legacy. Just as William Wallace envisioned, we are committed to creating an environment where residents and their loved ones feel a sense of pride, comfort, and community.
We also have exciting employment opportunities available for individuals who share our passion for senior care. If you're interested in becoming a part of our dynamic team, please reach us through this website.
If you have any questions or are considering Turnbull Nursing Home for your family member, please don't hesitate to reach out. Our team, led by Administrator Joy Pettinger, is here to guide you through the process and provide you with all the information you need.
Thank you for entrusting us with the care of your loved ones. We look forward to continuing our journey together, building on the legacy of compassion and inclusivity that has defined Turnbull Nursing Home for over 120 years.
